Everyone’s still talking about our prank. The whole branch thought it was the funniest thing ever, except for Bimi … she said she thought it was a bit childish. Why couldn’t she just laugh like everyone else?

It went perfectly! Sooze and I cast a spell on a buttercup blossom, so that it landed on Madame’s head and wouldn’t come off. She couldn’t work out what was going on! She looked so funny with the yellow flower sitting on her head like a hat.

Sooze and I are doing the prank tomorrow! Oh, I can hardly wait. I bet I don’t get a wink of sleep tonight. Sooze and I have been planning it all afternoon…it’s going to be SO funny!

Argh! We've had a really busy week at school, but Sooze and I have still had great fun planning our prank.

Bimi seems a bit out of sorts. She and Sooze have never really got on. But a prank is just a bit of fun…right? Besides, she knows she’s always my best friend, even if I do things with Sooze sometimes.

Sooze has told me what the prank is, but I can’t write it here yet…it’s a secret! I can hardly wait, though. No one else knows what it is, and everyone is itching to find out. It’s SO much fun being Sooze’s friend!

Everyone is dying to know about Sooze’s prank! She’s acting very mysterious over it. Oh, I wish she would tell me!

Sooze has an idea for a new prank on Madame. We haven’t done a prank in ages! Sooze wouldn’t tell us what it is, but she says it’s going to be really glimmery. I’m so excited! I wonder what it could be?

I managed to fix my cap with fairy dust. The mended bits aren’t quite the right shade of green, but I don’t think anyone will notice. Bimi’s started feeding her cricket with a special cricket-food, and he seems much chirpier!

I found my cap! Bimi’s cricket was munching on it in secret. Pix says that Bimi needs to change her cricket’s diet! Now my cap looks really nibbled, with holes all through it. Sooze says I could start a new fashion, but I don’t think it’s very funny.

WHERE could my cap be? I’ve looked absolutely everywhere!

Still no sign of my cap. Argh! I've had to borrow Zena’s spare one, only it's too big for me and keeps falling over my eyes. I'm barely able to see!

Oh, no – I’ve lost my oak leaf cap! I thought Sooze might have hidden it for a joke, but she says she didn’t. Where could it be? I’ve got to find it before tomorrow morning, or I’ll be in trouble with our Year Head.

Mrs Hover made our flower uniforms this morning. They’re SO pretty, even nicer than last year. Bimi says that I say this every year, but it’s really true this time.

We're back!

A new spring term! Hurrah, back at Glitterwings. Bimi and I have beds side by side again. I love our new branch. It’s really glimmery!
